From 11 March to July 10, 2011, the Complesso del Vittoriano hosts " Tamara de Lempicka. Queen of the modern," one of the most comprehensive exhibition ever produced on the artist best known and most beloved of the Deco period.
The exhibition features 90 paintings and 30 drawings that trace the artistic journey of the artist, 50 original photographs - Some of which are new - that document the "character" Tamara, almost always portrayed as a '30s movie star, two films of the thirties in which the artist stands in front of the camera. The exhibition also features 13 paintings by Polish artists who attended the artist in France and Warsaw.
